Istanbul University Opens Blockchain Centre in Collaboration with ATEZ

Prof. Mahmut AK, University of Istanbul’s Rector, Mr. Cagdas ERGIN, General Manger of Turkey Informatics Foundation and Dr. Kenan GULER, Chairman of ATEZ Software Technologies signs collaboration agreement on iconic desk of Minister of Military Affairs. The collaboration protocol covers, education, seminars, project meetings and academic research on Distributed Ledger Technologies.

A second protocol between University of Istanbul and ATEZ Software Technologies covers setting up “ATEZ Blockchain Lab” within Faculty of Economics under sponsorship of ATEZ Software Technologies.

The “Istanbul University Faculty of Economics Blockchain Technologies and Innovation Center” was established with the cooperation of Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, private sector representatives and leading NGOs in the fields of informatics-education.

The center, which will operate under the name “Istanbul BTC”, was established with the support of Istanbul University BAP Unit, Istanbul Development Agency, Mentorship School Foundation and ATEZ Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş.

Our Chairman of the Board, Dr. Kenan Güler and our Blockchain Project Leader Ümmügülsüm Özalp attended the opening ceremony held at Istanbul University Beyazıt Campus on December 2, 2022.
